Angel Program

Due to COVID-19, we will not be able to fill as many angels this year, but we are hard at work gathering the names and requests.  We have fewer locations this year and less requests.

Many of the requests are for larger items since so many are in such need.  We are suggesting that if you pick a name and it has a large item on it, please ask your friends to help fill it. This means maybe two or three of you can join together to help fill one gift.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.  Many have asked ‘where are the tags?’ and we are working on collecting/distributing them as quickly as possible.

We are also filling the trees with tags from our Stockings for Seniors program.  As many of you know, nursing homes were hit hard during the pandemic, and as in the past, our stocking program benefits them.  When you see a stocking request on a tree, please help us fill the needs.  We are trying to do at least 400 this year.

Thank you in advance for all the help I’m sure we will receive from many of our generous supporters!

The gift of giving all year round.

It was a great kickoff to the holiday season when students from local area Catholic schools came out to the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation (DLFF) stocking party at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School. After nine schools held drives to collect the items, the DLFF scholars worked to pack holiday stockings for the non-profit The Christmas Gala Inc., which has partnered this year with the Stockings for Seniors project. The annual project provides gift-filled stockings for all Wesley Enhanced Living Personal Care and Skilled Nursing residents during the holidays, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of their efforts to help enhance the lives of our residents! Happy holidays!            (DLFF pics)
