The Giving Tree

The Christmas Gala is a non-profit organization focused on assisting local seniors, primarily in Bucks County, PA. We try to fill a need such as air conditioners, medications, beds, hearing aids, or even just basic necessities like blankets and toiletries. Many elderly in our community have no one to support them and need help with day to day activities.

Volunteer

It is really simple: Our non-profit is raising money and giving it away to seniors in our community. We focus on low income and homebound seniors, and our goal is to help them maintain a dignity and quality of life. The job is hard, and the community has a hard time understanding how bad it is for so many. Many volunteers come and go and do not seem to understand that the need never goes away: once you fill one request, we get another.

Success Stories

Our Angel Program is all about helping a senior feel loved, remembered and even cared for. The community donates gifts that our seniors ask for on a survey they are given to complete. The Christmas Gala then delivers these gifts to the seniors. 2014 was a great year for our Angel Program. We had a lot of success allowing us to deliver over 800 gifts.
